Welcome to my altered projects blog. In 2006 I discovered the art of Altered Text and began a project which eventually expanded into two seperate projects. I shared them on my blog. When I had to take it down, the projects laid around to be found recently. So now, they will be posted here as each layout is completed.

DREAM - pages 4 & 5
This is a two-page spread. The ink is Pitt pen and the background is acrylic paint. This is actually the first spread I did in this book. The text reads: "the chance message might free the baby and mother"
The term "altered text" refers to the creative process of modern-day palimpsest (A palimpsest is a manuscript page from a scroll or book that has been scraped off and used again. ) which gained popularity through the success of Tom Phillips's pioneering treatment of W.H.Mollock's A Human Document which then became: "A Humument."
